Hello, I am a freelance artist & gardener/farmer looking for a grant to help in purchasing a home to run my business from. I am currently living in a tiny (600 sq ft) apartment, & I have no room for screen-printing, or gardening. All of my gardening is done in containers, currently. I sell online & at local markets, but I do not have enough room in the apartment to grow more vegetables organically to sell. I would like a home with a decent-sized yard & good soil to grow organic vegetables/fruits to sell at local markets & online. I also need enough space to create my artwork in order to sell my shirts & other art-related wares (screen-printer is very large & currently in storage. it does not fit in my apartment) Is it possible for me to receive a grant to use as a down payment on a home, where my business would be based?

I have a cake business I'm trying to get off the ground, but don't have the funds to get it started, me and my husband had the business and since then he has passed away, and I'm a breast cancer survivor, 3 years now. We worked with kids, gave to different business. Now I'm cancer free, and would like to see if I can get any kind of grant to help me with this. Single black female need help.

The United States government does not offer grants to be used as a down payment on a home. If you have a solid business plan and require capital funding in equipment or any other expenses that can be 100% tied to your business there may be funding opportunities available for these.
